The District 279 School Board is considering the option of closing Osseo Elementary. We need your help! Residents of Osseo, business owners, friends, and family . . . do what you can. Attend an informational meeting Wednesday night at 7:00 at Osseo Elementary.

We must be positive and strong in our voice to the district. The school board members have a very tough job. Clear, concise facts are helpful. Two interesting facts regarding the city of Osseo are:
The school district properties in the city of Osseo encompass roughly 13% of Osseo's total land. This is the most in the district.
The city of Osseo is made up of 43% of non-owner occupied housing, which is the highest percentage in the district.
Closing the elementary school would have a detrimental effect on the city.

The first school board meeting is coming up Wednesday 2/6 at 8pm. It's at 11200 - 93rd Avenue North in Maple Grove MN 55369. PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! THE MORE THE MERRIER! It wouldn't be a bad idea for the speaker to ask all who are there to support OE to raise hands/stand up, etc.
